1. Information We Collect
When you create a Lore account, we collect your name, work email address, company name, and billing information processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
As you use Lore, we collect content you create (knowledge articles, session notes, interview transcripts), usage data (pages visited, features used), and basic device/browser information for security and analytics purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and improve the Lore service
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts)
- Respond to support requests
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS) with encryption at rest and in transit. We use row-level security policies to ensure each organisation can only access its own data. Uploaded documents are stored in isolated, access-controlled storage buckets.

We share data only with trusted service providers necessary to operate Lore:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Stripe — payment processing
- Anthropic — AI-powered interview features
Each provider is bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 30 days before being permanently deleted, giving you time to export anything you need. You may request immediate deletion by contacting us.
